IES Cities will adapt and use most of the technical components and achievements coming from previous projects in order to facilitate the use of an open technological platform in different cities across Europe, allowing the citizens to produce and consume internet-based services based on their own and external data related to the cities.

DYNUI: Capability and Context-Aware Dynamic Adaptation of User Interfaces for Ambient Assisted Living
The aim of DYNUI is to define an intelligent platform that facilitates the development and deployment of user-environment interfaces adaptable to the users, their interaction devices and their context. These interfaces have to be adapted both at the beginning and during the execution of services taking into account the users' capacities, their interaction devices and the users' and their environment's current context.

THOFU: Tecnologías del Hotel del Futuro.
THOFU is a large multidisciplinary R&D project which aims to enhance the offer of the hospitality sector through joint research on a new conception of the future hotel, from the spaces and their construction, to objects that reside in it, the interaction with guests, as well as the symbiosis with the Internet.

SABESS
This project pursues two goals:
- Exploit the information available in Social Networks to complement data about emergency situations.
- Research and develop positioning technologies that evolve and adapt to the problems associated to emergency management situations.

mCLOUD
The aim of this project is to provide a set of methods, tools and technical solutions that support migrating towards advanced service oriented development models, having in mind methodological, technological and business aspects. Thus, mCloud will help to increase Spanish software companies' competitiveness by giving them tools to progress towards the Internet of Services where applications will mainly be deployed on the Cloud.

ADAPTA
The project's main aim is to define, design and implement technologies and standards that allow adapting, validating and integrating Open Linked Data coming from governments and enterprises in order to exploit them by citizens and companies.
